What's your fridge doing?
- The freezer's fine, but the fridge is warm. Frost has usually built up behind the freezer's back panel and is blocking the cold air. That's a defrost problem, and it's fixable.
- It clicks but won't start, or it never stops running. Sometimes that's a small part called a start relay. Sometimes it's bigger. We test it before we tell you anything.
- The ice maker quit. It could be the ice maker itself, or the water valve or line that feeds it.
- There's water on the floor. Usually a plugged drain, a cracked drip pan, or a leaky water line.
- A loud fan, or a buzz that won't quit. Fan motors wear out. We'll figure out whether it's the fan or something more serious.
